How It All Began

From Concept to Brand

MiaCara began with a Labrador called Cara, and a dog cushion she simply refused to sleep on. The filling wasn't right, and Cara made that very clear. It was a small moment that sparked a bigger question: why shouldn't the things we buy for our pets be as beautiful and comfortable as the things we choose for ourselves?

And so, MiaCara was born. From the start, we focused on designing products that meet the needs of pets and the people who love them. High-quality materials, considered features and a genuine sense of
how something fits into a modern home have shaped every decision since. What began with one dog and one cushion became a mission we still carry today: reimagining a more beautiful life with our pets.

First Just for Dogs, Then for Cats Too

Very quickly, MiaCara established itselfinternationally as a brand for discerning dog owners. But the appetite for the same care and craftsmanship soon reached further, and in 2015 we launched our first cat collection, built on the same guiding principle that started it all: form follows function.

Today

MiaCara remains based in Herzogenaurach as an independent, family-run business at heart. A close-knit team of designers, product developers and dedicated animal lovers works every day to create the best possible products for the four-legged friends who share our homes.
