Below you will find information on the accessible use of our online offering.

We inform you about

2) Services and functions of this website

This website is an online shop for the sale of goods.

Goods are understood here to mean tangible objects.

Goods are presented here which can be added to an electronic shopping cart and then ordered and paid for in a binding manner.

This website features a header menu and a footer menu.

In the header menu, the goods sold by us are listed by category and can be accessed individually from there.

Each product is described on its own detail page with further information about its essential characteristics, scope of delivery, and total price. From there, it can be added to the electronic shopping cart.

In addition, the electronic shopping cart can be accessed via the header menu as soon as you have added at least one product to it. From the shopping cart, the electronic ordering process can be initiated and completed.

In the footer menu, you will find links to our legal notice with our contact details, as well as information on the legal basis of our online offering, shipping and payment options, and links to other helpful service pages.

3) Explanations on the use of the services and functions

3.1 Virtual buttons

This website can be operated using virtual buttons.

3.2 Home, overview, and detail pages

On the homepage, you will find a selection of offered products in the central page area. By interacting with a product presentation, you will be taken to the product detail page.

In the header menu, you can navigate between the different product categories.
After selecting a category, you will be taken to an overview page on which all products in that category are displayed.

By interacting with a product presentation on the overview page, you will again be taken to the product detail page.

The product detail pages contain, in addition to all essential information about the product and the total price, a quantity selection element if applicable, as well as a shopping cart button.

If available, the desired order quantity can be set via the quantity selection.

3.3 Electronic shopping cart

By clicking the shopping cart button, you add the product (if applicable, in the selected quantity) to the electronic shopping cart.

This electronic shopping cart can be accessed at any time via the header menu.

Here you can first review the added products. Using the corresponding buttons, products can be removed again or, where applicable, the order quantity can be changed.

3.4 Electronic ordering process

After reviewing, you can complete the electronic ordering process by interacting with the corresponding buttons.

For this purpose, you will first be asked to enter your contact details (at least name, email address, and delivery or billing address) via an input form.

Then, in the next step, you can choose between the available delivery or service options.

Finally, you can select one of the available payment methods, enter the necessary payment details, and complete the order.

The binding submission of the order only takes place when the designated button on the final order page is clicked. It is labeled “Buy,” “Buy now,” “Order with obligation to pay,” or another clear wording.

Before clicking this order button, you can return to the previous steps at any time using your browser’s “Back” button and/or cancel the ordering process at any time.

If you have chosen to pay using an online payment method, you will be redirected from the final order page to the payment service provider’s system in order to make the payment there.

4) Legal requirements for accessibility

This website qualifies as an online shop as part of so-called “services in electronic commerce” and is characterized by an electronic ordering and payment option.

Special legal accessibility requirements apply to it.

In general, this website must provide functions and procedures that are tailored to the needs of people with disabilities and enable use with digital assistive technologies.

For this purpose, the online shop functions of this website must be designed to be

  • perceivable,
  • operable,
  • understandable, and
  • robust.

Perceivability means that the information and components of the online shop are presented in such a way that they can be easily perceived by all users.

Operability requires that the functions of the online shop can also be used by users with limitations in mobility or cognition.

Understandability presupposes that the information and functions of the online shop are logically structured, easy to recognize, and clearly labeled.

Robustness ultimately requires that the content and functions of the online shop can be used reliably and without restrictions, even when users employ digital assistive technologies.

If products are offered for sale in the online shop that are themselves subject to accessibility requirements, information on accessible use must be provided for such products—where available.

5) Available aids for accessible use

This website meets accessibility requirements through the following measures:

  • Alt text for images: Images in the online shop are equipped with alternative texts that provide a brief description of the image and can be processed by screen readers.
  • Adjustable font size: The font size of the page content can be adjusted via settings in order to make it optimally perceivable for each user.
  • Operability via mouse and keyboard: The online shop functions can be operated both via mouse and keyboard. Using the keyboard control keys, the mouse pointer can be moved and activated in the online shop.
  • Browser-independent page display: Content and functions of this website are available in identical arrangement, alignment, and resolution regardless of the browser used.
  • Cascading Style Sheets (CSS): A programming language is used that separates the presentation of page content in layout, color, and design from its structural content. This allows digital assistive technologies to use their own visibility schemes to display the page content.
  • Verified correctness of HTML code: All HTML code is continuously checked for functionality in order to prevent malfunctions and ensure accessibility by digital assistive technologies.
  • Sufficient spacing between characters: Characters are displayed with sufficient spacing from one another so as not to impair readability.
  • Responsive design (adaptation to different screen sizes): Content, elements, and functions automatically adapt their dimensions to the size of the screen being used.
  • Scalability (visibility when zoomed): Page elements and content remain clearly readable in high resolution even when zoomed in.
  • High color contrast: A strong contrast between text colors and backgrounds is preset to ensure optimal visibility of page elements.
  • Textual notices when required input fields are not filled out: If mandatory input fields are not completed, a textual notice is provided in addition to a color highlight. This notice indicates which information is missing in the input field.
