Indulge your four-legged friend with the instantly iconic Covo dog lounge. Designed exclusively for MiaCara by architect and interior designer Uta Cossman, the Covo bed offers the ultimate in style and comfort for your dog, while the striking circular form has real wow factor for design-lovers.

Small dogs love the enclosed form of the Covo; the raised rear of the bed offers a cosy, protected space for dogs to curl up and sleep, and as with all our modern objects for dogs, the Covo has been meticulously designed not only look great in your living space, but to be long lasting and easy to care for.

Made from bent plywood, the frame of the Covo is extremely strong and sturdy. A specially designed foam cushion offers excellent support for your dog’s spine, and the soft, yet durable fabric cover is easily removable and washable.

The Covo Dog Basket is available in one size. The frame has a diameter of 60 cm. The lying area (oval shaped) is approx. 70 cm in depth.

Frame

Wipe clean with a soft damp cloth, or with a suitable wood polish. Do not use any harsh cleaning products.

Inner Cushion

60° C gentle wash cycle

The cushion filling is made of extremely soft, open cell foam. To ensure longevity, the cushion should be maintained and cleaned accordingly.

Launder the inner cushion with a mild detergent up to 60° C. We do not recommend that you use chlorinated and chemically aggressive washing products. A brownish discolouration of the foam cannot be avoided, but has no effect on the quality of the foam.

After washing and rinsing, please remove as much water as possible with the spin cycle. The inner cushion can be best dried by air on a rack. It can also be tumble dried at 60° C, but please avoid over-drying.

Please plump up the inner cushion regularly so that it retains its fluffiness and shape.

Fabric Cover

The cover is machine washable at 60° C or can be dry cleaned. After washing, please let the cover air dry on a rack, and do not put it in the dryer. If needed, iron the fabric only at the lowest level (synthetic).

For easy cleaning in between washes, simply vacuum the surface of the cover with an upholstery brush.

Faux Fur Cover (Ivory, Taupe)

30° C gentle wash cycle

The faux fur cover can be washed at 30° C on a gentle cycle or can be dry-cleaned. To ensure the fur stays fluffy and soft over time, shake it out briefly after washing and leave it on a rack to air dry. Please do not put into the dryer.

For easy cleaning in between washes, simply vacuum the surface of the cover with an upholstery brush.
